Biography

Stolterman is the former head of the Department of Informatics at Umeå University, Sweden. He is an acclaimed leader in his field who earned his Ph.D. in Informatics from Umeå University in 1991. Stolterman’s research focuses on interaction design, information systems design and management, information technology and societal change, Net-Life studies, and the philosophy, theory and methodology of design.
